PostHeaderIcon Featured: Heavy Duty

Well I made it into a big 5 page feature in Heavy Duty magazine. Looks great however I’m a little annoyed that my name seems to have been omitted from the credits even though three quarters of the shots are mine including the double page spread. It certainly added an annoyance to my already frustrating day that included being rear ended on the M5 motorway.

Anyway,  I think I accidentally missed scanning a page but here are the other four pages.

Today the NSW Road Racing Club had the honour of holding the last ever series race at Oran Park before it’s demolition in the next few weeks. Oran Park will only be holding one more event which will be a two day multi club meet on the 23-24th. I would urge any Sydney-siders to venture out to the OP for one final time. Anyway back to the super sprint series, the full set can be found here on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21859683@N03/sets/72157623101639211/

Here are a few of my favourites from the day:

PostHeaderIcon Happy New Year!

Well since we have a new bundle of joy in the house, New Year’s celebrations were pretty subdued this year, mostly consisting of eating prawns, only a couple of coronas and lots if diaper changing.  I did however dig out an older shot I took a little while ago and did some post production work on it to bring it up to scratch. The bike was used for another shot I took but I decided to take a photo of just the bike as well for my own collection. The bike actually ended up eventually in the procession of a friend, Peter from Mackay Motorcycles. Can’t wait to see what he does with it as he is known for making some absolutely sweet custom bikes.  Anyway here is the shot and a happy New Year to everybody, may all your wishes and dreams come true in 2010.

PostHeaderIcon Assistant Photographer Hired!

With the ever increasing amount of photography work I seem to be doing lately, it seemed like a logical move to expand and bring in an assistant photographer lol
My wife gave birth to our Daughter Jasmine Jade Zsolti at 12:53pm on the 21st of December 2009. It was the single happiest moment of my life.

Oh and be prepared for the post with her first shot. haha

I took this one with a Minolta XG-M film SLR and a 45mm prime

The Zsolti Clan (film as well and timer on the camera):

Isn’t she just the cutest thing ever!

Some arty farty shot of the hospital carpark lol

PostHeaderIcon Favourite Motor Sport Photos for 2009

Well I thought I’d jump on the band wagon, everyone else seems to be posting their best shots etc for the year, well I thought I’d do something similar but I since I think “best” is a bit of a subjective term, I’d just pick the shots I liked this year. Some of these have been posted on the blog, others haven’t, anyway I hope you enjoy.
